WHY ARE FAMILIES ASKED TO DONATE?

You might think school music programs are fully funded by the district — but that’s not the case. While the district covers teacher salaries, classroom space, and basic curriculum materials, everything else that makes our Marching Band and Color Guard programs possible is funded entirely by parent contributions and fundraising.

From transportation and uniforms to instruments, instructors, show design, and competition fees — none of it happens without your support. The amount requested directly funds your student’s program, ensuring they get the full experience they’ve worked so hard for.

We understand it’s a big ask, but your generosity truly makes the music happen.
